A Little Addition To The Holiday CandelabraWhat?!
The only plans I had to participate in Black Friday was a trip to the Lego Store to take advantage of the opportunity to get 10% off gifts for Max and my nephew.
So off we went with a list drawn up by Isabella. We made it in and out of the stores in under a couple hours. Not bad! We came away with fabulous buys on decorations for the front of the house, some craft and sewing supplies, as well as this little bird.

I did not brave the crowds but I do really like that bird!
He's the perfect finishing touch! No black Friday for me. My MIL is not into shopping and we had a busy (and enjoyable) day without it.

I did not brave the crowds on Friday! I did, however, take a trip to Tarjay on Saturday for some additional holiday decor for the new place (pictures to come on Wednesday once the maids have cleaned my VERY messy house).
...Also rather shocked that your kids wanted to go to craft stores -- following your talented footsteps, perhaps? :)

I love it! I have some birds I clip to the top of the ting ting at the top of my tree, maybe they need a new home now :)
