I'd Probably Feel Like A Leprechaun On A Safari, However...

Spotted: Kelly Green & Animal Prints

What a great mix!
I suspect I'd feel a bit out of my personal comfort zone in such an outfit...

However, it's a look I'd happily "wear" in my home!
How about you?

I'd be much more comfortable with it in my home. Although it looks great on them, I don't know if I'm a green pant kinda girl. So cool in home decor, though.

I want to pull this look off too... but it is a little bold for my personal style! Love the combo!

I have to give you the award for most creative post title today :)

Come on...With your confidence, you could wear anything.
I used to work with a woman that wore a lot of vintage clothes. They always looked so cool on her because she had the confidence to pull it off.

Why do the models look like they are 13?

Good look for her, but I'm not feeling it on my size 16!

Janell @ Isabella and Max said...

Ha, yes, maybe if the models looked a bit closer (A LOT CLOSER) to my age I'd feel it was more fitting for me to attempt this look. The fashion industry would be smart to up the age of some of the models chosen to sell us their wares...

Do love the combination especially with the leopard but you have to feel mighty confident....and I have to say you are one person who COULD wear that outfit, you look great in clothes!! But in general sometimes the industry does promote an unobtainable ideal of youth, perfection, size,etc...that can make it mighty intimidating! Love your title...catchy!

Oh, I think you could pull it off, Janell !

Janell - imagine Lauren Hutton in the first outfit. It'd be fantastic! You could totally pull it off.

I love it and would definitely wear it together. I just did a post on this very color as my own personal color pick for 2012. I want to add it to my wardrobe and also in my home. I will be doing it in small doses and using it with black and white. If you have a chance to read it here is my post:

I love the second pic and would totally wear it with flats. I wouldn't spend much $$ on the trendy pants, but I think they'd be a fun piece to add to freshen up my wardrobe! You'd look great in it!

There is nothing wrong with the Irish, Chic, Safari look! ;) I think I have a crush on that green desk.

I love those green pants - especially with that leopard shirt!

Don't think I could pull off the green pants - maybe a leopard top under a green cardigan? Loving the desk! :)

I love this look. It actually looks quite timeless and elegant to me as opposed to overly trendy. You could do it for sure Janell.

It would look great on you Janell! I love the green desk on the leopard wallpaper!

I think I would feel like a frumpy leprechaun after all I ate for the holiday!
Loving the green desk and the matching bulletin board.
Happy New Year!

I'm starting to see leopard and green a lot everywhere! I'm not sure it's "me" but I definitely get it and think it looks awesome in the right interior (or on the right girl!)

Love leopard and wear it all the time. If I thought I could get away with wearing it head to toe I would, but I know better! You could totally pull off the look...you look fabulous in every image I see of you! Happy New Year! XOXO.

I agree with everyone...you could pull it off, Janell! I do wear leopard but haven't braved pairing it with a bright pair of pants. That pop of green in that desk might be just what I need for our guest room. Love that!

i love that seep, saturated green with the fun cheetah. i would definitely love to rock this look...but probably with green accessories and a cheetah shirt mixed with black pants. in my house, i would be a little more cautious...LOVE the way it looks, but it would be a little harder to pull off.

I love them both. Kelly green is one of my favorite colors! Happy New Year.

I bought a kelly green scarf at Ann Taylor right before Christmas and I have worn it almost everyday! I am so in love with that color right now.

I love this combination! I think an outfit would be fun, but something for the house would be great too. I have a can of green spray paint in the garage, I will have to see what I can find to transform.

While I wouldn't normally think of combining those colors and patterns, it does look fabulous! I snagged a pair of leopard print flats over the holidays. Can't wait to wear them!

Love anything with leopard. Love the current leopard clothing trend. We love to put leopard-print cowhide rugs thrown under a table in a seating area, on top of a seagrass or Oriental rug. Thanks for a great, inspirational page!

This is so funny - I did the green and leopard a few months ago - http://ourfifthhouse.blogspot.com/2011/11/what-to-wear-for-christmas-family.html

If I can do it -you definitely can - I'm not nearly as stylish as you are!
